Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake

I love how easy this recipe is to make. It makes a great breakfast because it is sugar-free, and has protein from the PB. I made this recipe with healthy maple syrup as a sweetener, but you can use stevia or brown sugar.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons flour (any kind works)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (you can use stevia or brown sugar, just add more water)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • (optional) peanuts and chocolate chips for garnish

Directions:

  • Combine all the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and dry sweetener if using it)
  • Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  • Microwave on high for about 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  • Add garnish and enjoy!
